After living in about 30 different places (yes, I am old), Beerwah is by far the best. The people are wonderful and friendly and it's lovely bumping into friends in the streets and local shops. There is a great community feel and the locals are very active in enjoying the wonderful bush walks and mountain hikes. Nearby Ewen Maddock is perfect for kayaking and swimming and if you feel more like saltwater experiences then there are many beaches within a 25 - 30 minute drive. The birds and wildlife are fabulous and you can still see kangaroos in paddocks. There is a public primary and secondary school and a great Prep to Year 12 College (Glasshouse Christian College) which has fantastic facilities for about 1100 students.
