Wentworth Point

"Overcrowded. Not pet friendly"

We’ve lived here for 8 years and it saddens me to see the decline is this area. We loved it here at first and now with the multitude of apartment building, poor planning, narrow roads, horrendous traffic and lack of parking we have decided to move. We could have lived with all that if we loved the people and it was a friendly place to live. It no longer is. If you have a cat or dog, don’t bother. People in our building, lovely neighbors of ours, are having people take photos of theirs cats laying in the sun and complaining to strata. They are being forced out. People spitting over balconies into courtyards, cigarette butts flicked into others balconies or courtyards. Loud music all night. Can’t use your air con after 10pm. We even got asked by security to turn our courtyard light off!! So very unpleasant.

Not pet friendly? Are you kidding? it's the most pet friendly suburb in the whole of Australia! there are parks LITERALLY dedicated to pets in this suburb. what a lie.

It's right, it is extremely difficult to find an apartment where they allow pets. It seems better now but in the past the majority of the rental properties did not allow pets. It can be diffiicult for owners too, some buildings only allow 1 cat or 1 small dog.

I find the pet comment weird as well. sdm is right when he says there are actual pet parks in the area, and I just went to a whole bunch of apartment viewings - every single building was pet-friendly when I inquired.

Probably the most pet friendly suburb Ive ever seen.. no idea where this information has come from. Ive seen taps made specifically for dogs to drink out of, doggy bags on every corner given out for free, parks dedicated just for dogs, dog dedicated community groups, 99% of apartments allow pets... this comment is very untrue.
