I have now lived in Trott Park for the past ten years. At first my husband and I bought in the area to get our first home and only planned to live there for a few years. We moved at one stage to an area close to the city and kept our house vacant during the time. After two years we had enough of city living and wanted to return back to our home in Trott Park. The neighbours are fantastic, helpful, friendly but not sticky beaks. The recently upgraded Hallett Cove shopping centre is fantastic for every day / week shopping (retail therapy). I get a lot of people saying to me "It is so far" - It's not.... It takes me 20 minutes to get to work in the morning on a good day and 30 minutes on a busy day. If you are first home buyer, young couple or retiree thinking of buying in Trott Park, Sheidow Park I highly recommend the area.
