I lived here in the 90.s Obviously Wodonga has grown a lot since then. I regularly still come up as I have family that still live here. Wodonga is basically a very large housing area with fairly minimul shopping. You will find the best shopping in Albury. Still a good place to live and work. A lot of locals (especially from the Albury side) call Wodonga - struggle town. This is because there is less to do in Wodonga than Albury. Reason being is that Wodonga relies on Albury as its city centre. It always has. Even though they are technically seperate cities, Albury Wodonga operates as 1 large city/regional area. Albury central has always been the city centre of the region. Lavington and Wodonga are part of the Albury metro area. That is how ive always seen Albury Wodonga. The Albury suburbs span close to 20kms from north to south.
