Clontarf

"A great spot close to everything"

We have lived here for 13 years and I wouldn't live anywhere else. We have everything virtually within walking distance. A swimable beach is at the end of the street, a supermarket is within walking distance, schools are within walking distance if you have children. The bus stops down the end of the street. There are takeaway shops within close walking distance if that's what you are into. There is a bakery, post office, medical centre including after hours doctors within walking distance as well. the city is only 30 minutes drive, the sunshine coast is only 45 minutes drive north. The gold coast is only an hours drive south. There is a boat ramp close by plus plenty of places to fish off the rocks. There are parks with barbeques to have a picnic. The beach isn't crowded at high tide and is safe for children to swim. Bikeways for all the family, or just use to walk by the ocean.
I am not sure what else you would want, except perhaps some more restaurants, but they will come. The Belvedere hotel is only a half hour walk away at Woody Point.
We will never get flooded which is totally appropriate right now.
