Seymour

"Seymour, a great place to grow up."

Working through every issue that arises, Seymour is becoming a more and more prosperous town with ever improving schools and facilities. The job opportunities that Seymour has to offer help young people to move into the workforce from an early age, gaining experience and skill as they complete their education throughout the local schools, while the nursing homes and retirement villiages offer a well maintained and competently staffed choice for the elderly. although parts of seymour do often have a higher drug and alcohol problem, these areas are far from dangerous and tend to be far from the hustle and bustle of the towns center (tips to avoid most of monash street though mitchel court and immediate surrounds).

Great for

  • Great schools, including highschool and special school
  • Great local perks on the river, perfect for barbecues and picnics
  • Local nightclubs such as the terminus and prince of wales hotels, that run until 2 am on week ends

Not great for

  • Small issues with local racism, although non-violent
  • Rental housing shortage
