We moved to Dingley from Brighton East, we thought we were downgrading but we much prefer it here! The neighbours are friendlier, you can actually get a car spot down at the local shops and even just in the year that we've been here we've seen a dramatic improvement in the shops. There is no train station but to me that is a bit of a positive too as there are no 'undesirables' from other suburbs passing through. I actually feel much safer in Dingley than I did in Brighton East and the houses are half the price here! This is definitely not the kind of suburb that has a lot going on but if you're like us and enjoy peace, quiet and feeling safe then I'd definitely recommend Dingley Village.

The neighbours are friendlier, parking is easier, it's much more peaceful and I feel safer here. The only downside is that there is no train station (this is also a positive because it means there are no 'badies' from other suburbs, only locals). Kimber Court has quiet, respectful neighbours, tidy gardens, the local kids often play on the street and it's only a short stroll down to the local shops and primary school.
