"extremely happy that we moved to Capestone in Mango Hill"
Our journey to finding the right home was a long one—almost a year of searching across Brisbane’s northside before we finally discovered Capestone in Mango Hill. Looking back, the path was worth it, as this community turned out to be everything we were hoping for.
We first started our house-hunting in Bridgeman Downs. While it’s a lovely suburb, we quickly realised the prices were quite inflated. On top of that, the area has large blocks still available for subdivision, which could flood the market with new builds and potentially impact long-term value. After that, we explored Carseldine, but much of it has flood-prone zones, which was a concern for us. We also looked at Albany Creek and Bracken Ridge, but those suburbs felt a bit older and would have required too much time and money to renovate homes to our liking.
We also explored Castle Hill in Murrumba Downs. While it offered some nice homes, the area didn’t quite match what we were looking for in terms of community feel, future growth, and lifestyle opportunities.
Then we came across Capestone in Mango Hill, and the moment we entered the area, we knew we had found the place we were searching for. Compared to Bridgeman Downs, it is still affordable, yet it offers so much more in terms of lifestyle, convenience, and future growth.
Why Capestone Stands Out:
Connectivity & Convenience: Two train stations nearby make commuting easy, and the location is close to IKEA, Costco, Westfield North Lakes, and the Bruce Highway. Beaches are also just a short drive away.
Amenities Within Capestone: The community itself has everything you need for day-to-day living, including an IGA supermarket and a gym right in the estate.
Great Schools: Several good schools are close by, making it a family-friendly choice.
Lifestyle & Green Spaces: The highlight is the large central lake, perfect for early morning runs, relaxing walks, or simply enjoying the scenery. The whole area is beautifully landscaped with parks, playgrounds, and plenty of greenery. It feels modern, clean, and very safe.
No Flooding Concerns: Unlike some of the other suburbs we explored, Capestone has no flood risk, which gives great peace of mind.
Future Growth: The Bruce Highway is undergoing a $2 billion upgrade from Bracken Ridge all the way to Anzac Avenue at Mango Hill, which will significantly boost accessibility and property values across the area.
Limited Land Supply: Capestone has now reached its final stage of development, meaning no more land releases are expected. This scarcity adds to the value and exclusivity of the community.
All the homes are new and modern, with beautiful houses surrounding the lake. The community feels vibrant yet peaceful, with a strong sense of lifestyle built into its design.
We couldn’t be happier with our decision to move here. Every day, we enjoy the lakeside walks, the parks, and the overall atmosphere of Capestone. It truly offers the perfect balance of affordability, convenience, and lifestyle.
