Hates what it has become? What it used to be was a social and cultural backwater and what it has become is a vibrant place to work and socialise. In my view it is definitely headed in the right direction.
Agree with dilinger (and all the other positive reviews). Parramatta is a bit hotter (but there is a Messina now, so its a good excuse to go there) than coastal suburbs but there is lots to do and it is close to everything, including the Sydney CBD. Parra is vibrant with different businesses opening all the time and unlike a lot of councils, the money does actually seem to go back to the community. There are lots of young couples/families mostly professionals and it is not pretentious at all, people are friendly and polite.
it is a myth ok .. wat u said about Mudgee !
"Quite Underrated"
Lots of good parks for kids, great schools, 5 daycare centres within walking distance of my investment property.
So affordable too, with good rental returns for investment property and public transport is improving all the time (railway station now has 200 spot free commuter car park).
Lots of great places to eat, particularly Indian, Thai and some top pizza places thrown in too.
Great for
