"A peaceful place to live."
I have been a local resident for 8 years now and brought our family out here to live. I can honestly say its the best move for us, that we have made for a rural/residential area. We feel safe and secure on our acreage. Our animals and livestock are all healthy out here. Our neighbors are friendly and the wildlife is great. If you want to live out in the bush and still be close to civilization, then this is the place for you. Be it a single person, a couple, or a family.
Great for
- Close to Ipswich, Toowoomba, Esk, without being too far away from Brisbane.
- Good choice of Primary/High Schools with local school bus.
- Peaceful atmosphere with lots of room to move and close to Atkinson Dam for recreational activities.
Not great for
- No town water, must have rainwater tanks and be conservative with your water.
- You will use more petrol than a suburban person as you will have to drive longer distances..
- No ADSL broadband, wireless is not good either. We are using Satellite and that works well.
