Kianga

"Golfing Heaven, Surfing Heaven, Fishing Heaven, Dining Heaven--All in the one place"

Kianga is a suburb of Narooma (Less than 5 minutes by car) It has magnificent views over the Pacific & of Montague Island. 5 minutes to the golf course which is one of the most challenging & panoramic courses in the country--rated number 84 in Aust. The fishing is outstanding in either Wagonga Inlet or on the ocean & there are numerous boat launching facilities. Known particularly for world class big game fishing. It has several high quality dining venues that include Lynches French Restuarant, Sotira (Italian), Michaels (International) The Whale (French/Italian), Taylors (Seafood). There are others that I haven't tried but those listed are all outstanding. The town has a bowling club & a Services club which have a strong community presence & also offer more basic dining. The area also has amazing birdlife, plenty of whale spotting opportunities, great surfing & many dolphins. The climate is moderate in the summer & rarely gets above 30 degrees. The winters rarely fall below 16 degrees. Town facilities include a modern library, primary & secondary schools, a large shopping plaza that is currently undergoing a multi-million dollar extension, ample medical facilities & sporting clubs that cover all interests.
