Hurlstone Park

"Leafy quiet inner city with excellent transport and schools"

Hurlstone park has parklands along with transport convenience. Millions are being spent on the river, cleaning it up, plantings and new sandstone retaining walls, bike and walking trails as well as exercise stations.

It is only 8Kms from the city by train, has excellent bus services and will soon have the light rail terminus nearby. Often overlooked is the fact that it is a 5-10 minute drive to the South Western Motorway - two options are Arncliffe or Bexley North access points. Even though it has transport convenience the suburb has minimal traffic.

And unlike many other inner west suburbs it receives minimal aircraft traffic as it is in a direction at an angle between the North South and East West runways yet it is only a 15 minute 8Km drive to the Airport.

There are a number of schools in the area - including many private schools e.g.Trinity Grammar is a short 2Km and a 5 min bus ride proved access to Ashfield station for access to all of the private schools in the Croydon-Burwood-Strahfield area. There are also a number of child care centres, including a council one.

Gentrification has been underway over the last few years with many young families moving in to the area.
