Curlew Avenue

"Quiet Friendly Street. Close to everything"

I moved here from just out of Melbourne and had some reservations about moving 'away' from the city but I'm so glad I did!. it is deceiving as it is quite open and seems 'far away' from everything, but you would be surprised as there are plenty of things to do and eaterys near this street. ie Harrington Square and Sommers Parade aswell as walking distance to Pier St in Altona. it is close to the beach, a nice pleasant walk too, close to the golf course, and close to Truganina swamp too which can be nice to walk around if you have a dog... a bit different to just walking around streets if you want to keep fit. it is close to the train station which is a major bonus. (Zone 1, 30 mins to the city) it is not very noisy, and you cannot hear the train at all most of the time. and when you do, it isn’t loud at all. not much traffic goes up this street... only really people who live there. There are plenty of birds... which are lovely to wake up to in the morning. Sometimes you can smell the sea breeze in summer which is lovely. I would recommend this street to anyone who would like to live in a peaceful location yet still have excellent facilities close by.
