San Remo

"Noisey suburb with terrible local schools"

I have been in San Remo for 15 years - and recently moved. There is some terrible streets which cars roar through all night, graffiti almost everywhere, and rude, unfriendly neighbours in my experience.
The local primary and high school are terrible, you cannot go anywhere else as you are out of zone, rude teachers and disrespectful children. Local lake is filled with people drinking and smoking each afternoon/night and too many opportunities for people to speed and do burn outs. Overall hate the suburb. There is not many Rentals and pricing is very high.

Everyone has different experiences! Just because you haven't had any trouble doesn't mean none else will.
This is a suburb review, giving experiences and ratings on suburbs. Not a battle between who had more trouble then the other or who has. Have a great day!

I lock my car doors when I have to drive thru San Remo .Late at night 9.30 pm + young kids riding push bikes on the road no lights no helmets, where are the parents? Graffiti every where.

We are a family of six we bought in san Remo about 20 years ago..people always have something to say about san remo.the only trouble in san remo are the ones that come through here.i have worked around at night no problems.some streets might not have guttering thats true but we have wide streets huge blocks,xtreme bike park,bike track around the lake ,oval,new park local shops the have fixed up the outlet.lake at one end of the st bush at the other end m1 5 minutes beach 5 mins.the high school is a very good high school over the last 5 years or so .my youngest was actually school captain a few years ago.my daughter also went there is at uni now studying to be a lawyer..they all did well at the high school.50 mins to Wahroonga I heard it all san druitt by the lake etc this suburb can not really be built up any more than it is.plus its not estate homes with no backyard and tiny streets ssn remo is in such are great place and we bought so cheap back then dont know where else would have lake ,bush,m1 so handy
