Campsie

"Great suburb to live and buy. Get in quick!"

Campsie is a great little suburb to live. The metro opening is just months away and (like other suburbs on the metro line) the property prices will rise so get in quick.
There are plenty of buses into the cbd, currently 20/30mins into the city which will be very much reduced when the metro is open.
Loads of green spaces and parks, friendly locals and a nice basic shopping centre. Close to Cole’s and woolies and if you want a big shopping centre Burwood is up the road.
The suburbs main street will be getting redeveloped (definitely needs attention) and will be lovely when it’s finished, the council has an award winning town plan which is worth checking out. Could use some more cafes but with the metro opening and the areas gentrification I see this happening just like Marrickville.
The area is nice and safe, and the council is noticeably targeting and prosecuting rubbish dumping.
Campsie has solid older brick apartments, weatherboard and federations style houses, a lot of people renovating and the area as people are seeing the potential and values of their properties increase.
Overall a good solid investment area and a nice place to live and it can only get better.
