Short stroll down to the river. all sporting facilities are within walking distance as is the Fairview Primary School and Kindergarten. Town centre is just across the river about 2 klm walk. The railway is not in use at present and has not been in use since 2005. Then it was only a tourist railway running sundays. The roads are very quiet after sundown.
