"Not cheap enough"
We were looking to buy here but there's so many cons. The 2nd runway projections are horrendous for this suburb. We thought the train noise was might be ok but then a coal train came rumbling past to the port of Brisbane... Internet coverage is not good (check Telstra maps) and the lower parts of Park Hill are a huge drainage sump. Have a look a the "park" near portwine st for a good example. Add in Barrack road on the east & creek road on the west with Lytton road to the north under a flight path which is going to treble in the next decade? Well, you get the idea.

The planes have been great as the new runway has majority of the aircrafts flying over Bulimba and Hamilton.
planes are not an issue anymore, since the 2nd runway opened a significant amount of the plane traffic has moved out of murarrie
I have lived in Park Hill estate in a 5 bed, 3 bath home. It is an amazing place to live. It is close to Cannon hill train station, Bulimba, Cannon hill, Carindale, Gateway. It even has its own brewery, the brewdog.
Park hill has 4 parks and a dog park. So if you like dogs, this is the place for you. I am only considering selling up due to my wife's health and need a smaller house.
Thank-you for the review. You drive past and it looks good but I forgot about all those planes. Didn't know about the coal trains to Lytton. Dear oh dear.
