"A suburb like where I grew up"
Having moved to WPH 2.5 years ago my family couldn't be happier. Properties are on good sized blocks at reasonable (well median price for Sydney) prices. Plenty of parks including 1 with wild ducks for the girls to feed. Ease of access to the M2 and hence Sydney CBD, Canberra and via the F3 up to the Central and North Coast. Schools are good for when the girls grow older and the neighbours are all friendly. My rule of 1 hour to and from work is at its limit here but that is acceptable to be able to go home to some peace and quiet. There are Restaurants at Thompsons Corner and the West Pennant Hills Sports Club on Newline Rd. You will often see the neighbours out walking or running or working out in the park with a trainer. I will often say that the place reminds me of the suburb I grew up in which no longer does as it is now a city unto itself with lots of high rises.
