I think it's a large country town, Bundaberg is a very big population there is a lot happening in the building industry lots of variety to suit everybody's budget.
There are quite a few Woolworths, coles, iga,aldi stores not just 1 of each , depending where you are located and where is more convenient to you, but there are many large shopping centers.
Just do you your homework on where you buy say north for eg does flood and where it floods you have higher insurance.
Bigger the block more the rates just a heads up.
Buy a house with solar, most do you will find, and you will have no electricity bill if you have enough solar we have lots of sunny days here.
Schools are good some better then others but they do have in place a rule of where you live and which school you go to research that.
Drugs can be problem and alcohol but this is everywhere, where ever you live.
There is heaps of work and opportunities for young people especially if they have focused on their school work , and have chosen their career path. We have lovely beaches and many to choose from. I think there is a lot for families to do.
We have camping areas around also do your homework. I have lived in many places and happiness is what you make it. Plenty for the hobbiest there are many groups around for all different kinds of art or if you just want to be social there are groups for that also. We have many gym there everywhere so if you like good gyms we have them.
We do have a new aquatic center opening soon, and plans for a new big hospital it's all progress.
