Flagstaff Hill

"What is there not to like about Flagstaff Hill - Leafy and Lovely"

Flagstaff Hill is about 16km away from the CBD and is a lovely, sprawling, leafy suburb that has lots of walking trails. A large proportion of Flagstaff Hill backs onto Sturt Gorge which is wonderful for bushwalking and just for children exploring in general. A number of new homes being built in the Flagstaff Pines estate as well as older more established homes. Very friendly neighbours and my street, Glendale Avenue is one of the nicest around with lots of trees, wide streets, lovely homes and stunning views. Shopping is handy - large shopping centre at the Hub (Aberfoyle Park), smaller shops at Flagstaff Hill (grocery, bakery, post office and florist) and very large shopping centre at Westfield Marion about a 10 minute drive away. Good beaches are also about a 10 minute drive away. Buses run from Aberfoyle Park and through Flagstaff Hill and there is a train service from Coromandel Valley about a 10 minute drive away. All in all, the perfect suburb!
