Morell Street

"A quiet Safe Street."

I lived in Morell Street up until I got married and moved away. But it was always home. Went to school across the road and used to pop home for lunch, we all played in the school oval over the weekends so there was always plenty to explore.
Home was close to shops, church and school.
Home always had the smell of my mother’s wonderful cooking and home always had children dogs and lots of love. My sisters and I shared the bedroom and I remember reading to them before we all went to sleep. Home was always a welcome sight after school and I remember all of us all watching tv in the lounge room, Dad would turn the tv around to face out of the lounge room window in the Summer time so we could sit in the cool night air to watch tv on the verandah.
The garden was a place we used to have family barbecues, parties and where Mum and Dad grew veggies and had plenty of fruit trees, we loved hiding down in the secret garden.
