What a great place and the 'hidden gem'''. Suggest having a drive round yourself and check out first-hand. You'll see money being spent (by existing & new buyers) upgrading their properties, the introduction & expansion of a retirement living complex (Palm Lake's) and money spent on developing the foreshore (walk ways and erosion control etc). Downside - lack of decent public transport options. BTW - a stones throw from Bribie Island without the Bribie house buy/rent price tag.
