I have lived in Lakes Entrance for 4 years. I can't get out of here quick enough. The locals,(you are only a local if you were born here), are nasty and two faced. Everyone thinks they know your business and are quite happy to spread their own version of it. Great place to visit but don't waste your time moving here unless you plan on keeping to yourself. If you insist on moving here, join a few Facebook groups first. Don't tell people you are thinking of moving here, just sit back and watch the drama. You'll be glad you didn't make the move. Even people from other small towns around here don't like Lakes Entrance locals.
