Arncliffe

"A very under-rated and overlooked suburb..."

Here's the great bits...

Beautiful Victorian and Federation properties - often unrenovated and at bargain prices compared to other parts of Sydney!
Close to the Airport, Newtown, City, major arterial roads...it doesn't matter which direction you are heading.
A railway station - It's only 20 mins and about 6 stops by train.
Close to beaches at Brighton or even Maroubra (which is only 15 mins away)
No aircraft noise at all!
Great Middle Eastern eateries with the best kebabs and falafel around.
Really friendly neighbourhood - street parties do happen.
Beautiful city and bay views from the high areas of the suburb.
Plenty of schools to choose from.
Lots of green space, golf courses and parks.

Could improve with...

Some streetscaping and upgrades to the main street - get to it Rockdale Council!
(This would encourage my next point...)
A few traditional, quality cafes - somewhere to walk to and get brekkie and a coffee on the weekend. (If you are keen on starting a cafe business this area would be great - please letterbox the locals!)
An off-leash dog park.
