Maiden Gully

""Maiden Gully" the place to be..."

Maiden Gully is a great place to live, peaceful and friendly neighborhood, situated only 5 min drive to city centre, eaglehawk, golden square or kangaroo flat. If you like the outdoor/country lifestyle living then you will love maiden gully... theres also a recreational sports oval, tennis courts, and a playground for the kids with community bbq area... it also has it's own local IGA supermarket, takeaway/video shop, chemist,pub/restaurant (Prattys Patch) post office, community hall, caravan park, fire station and primary school (which is currently in the process of building a brand new 3 million dollar gymnasium)...also has newly built Jennys Kindergarten, (childcare centre/pre-school) great family friendly place to live... would highly recommend it to anyone with kids - or thinking of starting a family....

Agree nearly all of this - Maiden Gully is a great location and a nice little community, especially for families and those seeking more spacious blocks of land to build on. To be fair though, it is more like a 10 minute drive to the city centre, Kangaroo Flat and Eaglehawk, especially of you live near the IGA, primary school or Pratty's. Look up travelmate.com.au and they put the distance from Maiden Gully to Bendigo at 8.5km (about 13 minutes).
