Lived in Fawkner for 2 years. Very easy to access everything. Close to 24 hour Kmart, McDonalds and Hungry Jacks & Kebabs/Truck Stops. Sydney road has a range of medium Hotels, the local Bonwick Street Shops has everything you need, IGA, butcher, fruit & veg, post office and a short trip via freeway gets you to Airport West, Westfield, Broadmeadows Plaza or a short drive down Sydney RD connects you to all the options of Coburg Markets, Night Markets and the hustle and bustle cafe scene in Brunswick with all different types of Nightlife. Being only a few minutes away from the city is handy, either via Sydney Road or via CityLink. Close to Airport. A fantastic suburb. A bit more pricier now than some other surrounding suburbs, but worth it!
