Coal Point is a beautiful part of the world with most of the homes having a view/access to the lake in one way or another. There are lovely bush trails to walk along that will pop you out at the lake too. Great primary school there too. Closest shops are in Carey Bay which has a bottle shop and a few little things here and there but main shopping is to be done in Toronto which is easy enough to get to. As for public transport, the only option is the bus and I am not sure on how often it goes past as I only ever noticed it as a school bus. Everyone is friendly enough but there can be a few people that come across a little snobbish however the friendly neighbours definitely make up for it.

Fassifern is a great suburb to live in. Extremely close to the train station and good little schools. It is a suburb that people 3 suburbs over don't really know it exists but that keeps it nice and quiet. Lakefront and with a lovely bushy walking track, it really does cater to most walks of life.
