Tristan Street

"Convenience"

I grew up in Tristan Street. The street is lined with 1970's brick veneer homes. This is the original Carindale estate, and it feels much more established than the new parts of Carindale.
I wish now as an adult I could buy a house in the street. It is very convenient. Westfield Shopping Centre is about a 15 minute walk away. Carina State School is no more than a 10 minute walk away from any part of the street. There is a bus stop in the street and also at either end of it (Bedivere St and Meadowlands Rd). Large parklands at the end of the street along Bedivere St.
I only thing I remember was my father complaining about the traffic noise. Buses do go up and down, and cars do use it as a thoroughfare between Creek Rd, Meadowlands Rd, and Bedivere, but I suppose this happens in such a central location.

Not great for

"Peace and Quiet"

Leafy, quiet cul-de-sac. I've never heard of any crime in the street. All the houses are neat and tidy.
