Imagine all of the dust from cars trucks buses and machinery spewing fumes into you apartment all day 360+ days per year. Yeah thats playfield street. You cant park anywhere as the idiot council didnt allocate enough parking and the noise from either westfield when the rain gets into their fire alarm system at 2am or a street sweeper cleaning the concrete carpark all night or a neigbouring buildings alarm going off all the time is for you, then Playfield street will feel right at home for you

A while ago now I moved away from chermside and that westfield that clogs up Gympie road. But came back to visit friends. It was the worst visit ever.....I love north brissy, but seriously its quieter of a night in the CBD than it is at damn chermside.
Not only does the westfield make noise 24x7 evacuation alarms, Loud extraction fans, pollution, trucks machinery etc etc etc, The damn Ambulances and emergency vehicles leave their siren on the whole way down the road from their depot near the roundabout on webster road all the way down gympie road, Now its not usually just one, but several repsonding, now they have the dumb rumbler siren that vibrates everything within its direction so you get constant ambulances occasional fire engines and annoying police helicopters sitting there perving thru their infra red at peoples houses but also the rescue chopper that sounds like a tank thumping thru the sky....
Every Single Day there are incessant sirens. Think again about moving here. It was bad 2 years ago, now its even more of a crudhole thanks to increased emergency vehicles on the road. Yeah the bus depot at westifeld is kinda handy, and not having to really leave the one suburb is handy too, but do you really want to got to the same place all the time? I hope I never have to move back here. But seriously they need to do something about kerbing the noise from sirens. Especially on an empty road at 1 2 3 4 am
