We are partly retired couple living right in the centre of Ipswich town. We moved here 7 years ago from Clifton (40k from Toowoomba) We found the town is small but facilities of a big city especially library, hospital and shopping mall. People here are nice, friendly and tolerant. Of the course there are sometimes little social problem happened but Ipswich is not the only place in the world has got that. Please don't rate Ipswich as a horrible place, unsafe and is Centrelink's industry.
We are in our 60's and still working. We live in a spacious home and walked our dog nightly . We have never seen any disturbance scenes on the streets during our 7 years here .
We are proud of Ipswich and happy to be Ipswich residents.
