I live on Railway Pde. It is far from the train line and I do not hear any train noise at all. I feel safe walking to the station which is only 4 mins walk away. The street is mostly used by local to get access to the Ersko Village, School & Train so in normal hours 8am - 8pm I usually found other residents walking to commute. There are terraces along the street scape on the way to train station so I always feel safe walking.

Erskiville village has wide street scape and a lovely heritage train station. It is safe, quaint & beautiful with trendy cafes, pubs, restaurants yet so close to buzzing NewTown. It reminds me of Leura Blue Mountain.

There are two distinctively different part of Erskinville. The quiet part is near Tom Bass Sculpture Studio (Railway Pde, Clara St, Ada Ln) with tree lined terraces and low rise warehouse apartments. With only 5 mins walk to train station and a 10-12mins walk to buzzing NewTown, we are spoiled with lifestyle choices. A local primary school is only 5 mins walk away near the train station. This part of Erskinville is in a safe family neighbourhood with small children playgrounds where you can mingle with other families.

However, on the other side of Erskiville there has been over development of high density apartments in the areas of Coulson St/Eve St/Pearl St.
