Sackville Street

"Privacy assured"

The street is a mix of Anglo and Middle Eastern, with the latter increasing because of a mosque a few kilometres away. Owing to cultural differences each household keeps to itself with virtually no interplay between Anglo neighbours: all dialogue seems to be strictly within the Middle eastern grouping.

So if you're looking for a neighbourhood where everyone knows everyone else's business, this is not it.

Now for the good part. The properties are among the lowest-valued in Sydney. But!!! The facilities are among the very best. A three minute drive from the International Airport and a 7 minute drive from the Domestic terminal. And virtually no aircraft noise!

A seven-minute drive to Botany Bay and excellent swimming/barbeque facilities and world standard restaurants of all nationalities.

A thirteen-minute drive to the centre of Paddington or to the Sydney CBD (along the Motorway which is down the road)

A thirteen-minute drive to the Western Suburbs, also along the Motorway. The trip before the Motorway was built took some 60 minutes!

A 35-minute drive to the Royal National Park which comprises hundreds of thousands of natural acreage and riverscapes.

Local shopping centre (5-minute walk away) is beginning to thrive and regenerate, now that the longest tunnel in Australia has taken much traffic off local roads.

Two major shopping centres within an 8-minute drive: Hurstville and Rockdale.

This area is destined to appreciate in value very soon: just as soon as people discover the properties are bargain-priced for all the "pluses" around the place.
