Moulden can be broken into 2 parts, South Moulden and North Moulden. North Moulden is walking distance to Palmerston High School, sports facilities and swimming pool. South Moulden has many housing commission and is further from essential services. In North Moulden, many of the housing commission homes has been sold off. I purchased an investment property recently (May 2017). ROI is better than surrounding suburbs. I lived in it while I renovated, neighbours were nice, had many privately own properties around me. The housing commission house in our street was quiet. The park nearby was family friendly. I left my car unlocked and my house unlocked most of the time and never got broken into. I do not have a dog. However, neighbors Dogs did bark at night. I was previously in Fannie Bay and found it noisier than Moulden with itinerants, hoons and touts door knocking. The blocks are big and parks well maintained. The public facilities such as swimming pools, tennis courts and High School are new.
