Shoalhaven Heads

"a well kept secret"

This little town is own of the best on the south coast. Situated on Seven Mile Beach and the Shoalhaven River it is fantastic for surfing, fishing, kayaking and all water sports. Only 10 minutes from Berry for shopping, cafe's and restaurants and 10 minutes to Gerringong. Nowra is about 15 minutes south and it is surrounded by lovely wineries. So even thought Shoalhaven Heads does not have heaps of restaurants it is surrounded by options that are only a 10 minutes away.
This suburb will never be built out like Shellhabour as it has defined boundaries and will always stay a size that will offer a village and community atmosphere. It has been a popular spot for retirees but is becoming more well known for Sydney sea changers as it is still only 90 minutes back to "the shire" on a great road that is now all expressway and is one of the prettiest drives in New South Wales - those rolling green hills and beaches.
It's worth a look before the word gets out and the prices go up....
