Caringbah

"Love it!"

I was brought up in Caringbah North. Contrary to some of the comments, it's a great place to raise kids, even now. 45 years later. Not too many areas that you still see children riding their bikes around the neighbourhood without the danger of some idiot hitting them. After my travelling, I married and settled in Caringbah South. Both areas have great schools for the kids, friendly neighbourhoods and just a general feeling of knowing that you living somewhere that very, very rarely has made the media for any reason. Close to the beach and the lovely Pt Hacking , what more could you ask. There are plenty of eateries in Caringbah. Maybe not top notch, but family friendly. I hear the odd siren, but it's usually an ambulance, and probably on its way to help someone, because of the proximity to Sutherland Hospital. Another bonus to all age groups. Not because of any violence. My son now lives close to the Kingsway and he does'nt not feel any trepidation where he is. Maybe some people look for the worst? I think we live in great part of Sydney. Hey I can think of hundreds of places I would rather not live in. Yes, there can be some drawbacks, but overall, its safe and friendly.
