"Rest with Peace"
I lived here for years… It slowly became a nightmare. Some units in this area are filled with ratbag X and Y gen; a bunch of self-serving, loud-mouthed, foul language screamers full of their own self- importance. Yelling and bullying their kids because they cannot cope, and of course the regular druggies including the obnoxious partying drunks almost every other night and weekends.
Oh I forgot… above, are the many planes (3-4 carriers - this is an apex of the Brisbane flight-plan) and the neurotic local drivers burning up and down the street. I’ve witnessed it all in this area. Living in peace with regard for your fellow neighbour is absolutely non-existent. I would personally never live in this area again.
Great for
- 5km to CBD
- Less than 1km in parts, to Oxford St Bulimba
- Public Transport
Not great for
- 24 hour Aircraft noise
- Noisy freight trains from 3 to 5am most days
- Every 2nd house has a barking dog, or two
- Many scruffy and untidy homes

Also the new runway gets rid of 93% of air traffic.
Further, if you dont want youth around you living life, move out of the inner city you dinosaur.
Morningside is a brilliant suburb, and would be better off without your intolerance.
