Burdell
"Agree with other posts.............SLUM OF THE FUTURE"
Figures just out show 40% of houses are rentals and this is not counting ADF rentals. Starting to look scruffy and no new development at shopping centre. Property values dropping like a stone and lots of vacant rentals.
Not great for
- Narrow Streets
- ADF housing
- No neighbourhood pride
- Too many rentals

I think if people had a look at the 5yr old part of North Shore and see how rough a lot of the properties look they would have to think twice about buying. The older part of Discovery now has more rentals than home owners and the road side trees have died of neglect and covenants are not being upheld by Stocklands. There are nicer developments around but I would give North Shore a wide berth. Values have dropped 20%.

I would like to know where you get your info from Burdell has less than half the crime of Deeragun and other areas of Townsville. We do have a few to many rentals but thats happening everywhere and as for the narrow streets, you must be thinking or North Shore and our blocks are larger than the new developements in other parts of the city.Add a comment...
