Upgrade

I bought a unit in Daw Park in 2001 and am still here now. I love the location with it's blend of ages, families, singles, Uni students, widowers and retirees. I find my street and my block of 5 units particularly quiet and have never had a problem with the neighbours or anyone else in my street.
Never had my car or unit broken into either (touch wood!) or the police being called at all.

We are close to shops, take-aways, the vet, local doctor and pharmacy, post office and other local shops - all within walking distance. We are on a reliable bus route on Goodwood Road to the city and Marion shopping centre/Flinders Uni and Medical Centre, Castle Plaza and Mitcham/Belair precinct. I am off Goodwood Road by only a few steps and yet never hear much traffic.

For growing families there are childcare centres and primary schools

I would recommend Daw Park to any age group really (we are now looking to buy a house in the area or in a neighbouring area). And hope to stay within the vacinity :-)

Although Daw Park has gone up in value over the years I've been here, it is still one of the more affordable places to live.
