I am an Iranian-Australian and have been living in this suburb for 20 years. Me and my husband invested our way up and we were fortunate enough to buy a water view home. I have to say, the scenery is great, but the snobby neighbours ruin it. They were racist to us when we moved and always wanted to make us the inferior one. As soon as we bought new sports cars, they bought new ones, as soon as we went on vacation, they did too. However, one day, I was laughing so hard and ridiculed those criminals. Last year, we watched as they were thrown in police cars as they were suspected of money laundering and bribery. Our new neighbour is not too bad. We love this suburb and will always love it here, but is important not to be enemies with ANYONE here.

I have lived in Bulleen for 35 years and have never been disappointed, when I first bought a fairly large property here, I bought very cheap. However, now that property is worth well over 5 million. Even if you are new to this suburb it is great investment, the annual growth rate is 5-10 percent pretty sure. I have never seen any Crime in this suburb and doubt I ever will. Right now, the big powerful developers are investing millions in Bulleen so I suggest to buy here before price doubles or triples. Bulleen will become the new Balwyn.
