Eastwood

"A quiet haven so close to the CBD"

Being bounded by 3 main roads might give the impression that Eastwood is going to be a noisy, busy suburb. However this means there is no reason for cars to shortcut through this suburb and as a result Eastwood is a very quiet neighbourhood.

There are 3 fenced parks on Main Street, 2 with play areas for kids, and the largest park also includes the local Kindergarten.

If you need a hall for a function or party, the Eastwood Community Centre on Glen Osmond Rd/Main St is available for hire at very reasonable rates.

The houses are also very good examples of late 19th century building, with row cottages and single and double fronted houses available. And as a historic conservation area, Burnside council also retains and enhances the streetscape with peiod works such as the bluestone curbing and the park fencing.

There's restaurants and shops along Glen Osmond Rd, as well as the soon to be developed shoppinng centre on Fullarton Rd.

Oh, and a 5 minute bus ride into the city. Who could ask for more?
