"An idyllic pretty country town - good value, peaceful but interesting"
The ideal Australian town ... large enough to have all facilities, but small enough to have peace and quiet if you desire this. Excellent sporting and cultural clubs and facilities. Hills and river make a pretty town. Two hours to Canberra, and four hours easy drive to Sydney for the weekend. Good fishing and bushwalking.
