"Heart of convenience"
Lived here since 2019, and have watched the suburb transform over the last 5 years. Can definitely see why so many people are choosing Rouse Hill to call home.
Convenience is the best word to describe the area. I find the sweet spot is somewhere north of the town centre. This provides walking distance not only to the town centre, but also the Rouse Hill Village, Fiddler, primary school, regional park (you won't regret seeing this place at sunset!), dog parks, playgrounds and metro station, just to name a few things. Costco, bunnings, Dan Murphys, IKEA are only just a short drive away as well.
On the negatives, there are an abundance of restaurant choices, but nothing that really stands out. Traffic has picked up especially on Windsor Road over the past few years as houses continue being developed up in Box Hill and surrounding areas. Once the metro connects directly to the city in a few months, the hospital is built, and shopping centre expanded, there's likely to be a flood of people wanting to move into the area. This is becoming more evident in buying and rental activity already.
