"Becoming bogan / yuppie and increasing crime"
Have lived in Mount Stuart with my family for 15 years, attended Friends School which was a brainwashing hellhole. Our street has become crime ridden due to a select few neighbours constantly feeling the need to renovate and bring the absolute scum of Hobart tradesman high on drugs in to the area. Owning anything luxury here is becoming scary, especially since I own a luxury Italian car and am in constant fear that I’ll be the next target due to the selfish select of morons who have nothing better to do but wake people up at 6am bringing stupid tradesman around banging and doing inane, hideous renovations and extensions to already beautiful homes. These renovations can go on for a prolonged unnecessary amount of time, And I mean at LEAST for a year, if not longer. Used to be lovely and quiet, but not anymore. Have security cameras set up all around our property with upgraded wifi for stronger signal due to safety concerns. Just a few weeks ago a tradesman in a Ute set fire to an elderly neighbours garage down the street, destroying all their honey that they worked so hard for, ruined by a parasite, most likely brought on my the disgusting tradies and bogans these selfish individuals keep bringing to our street and suburb with their moronic inane renovations non stop.
It’s safer than other suburbs, but it’s definitely getting worse and a trend of an attempted house robbery, car theft or fire in our street and surrounding streets has been happening at the beginning or end of every month like clockwork for the last six months. Can’t fault the few lovely people and couple couple who live on our street and our next door neighbours though, they’re lovely and always willing to keep and eye on things when we’re away and we do the same for them. You’ll likely meet a select few who try to bring a community vibe and make you feel safe, the rest, yuppies with too much time on their hands.
Security is a must here, and please, when renovations arise, complain and don’t be afraid about taking legal action, you’ll find these select few put their tale between their legs once confronted with aggressive lawyers.
This is the strangest review
