Grew up in this suburb and never felt safe walking the streets alone. It is the worst suburb I've lived in.

Stay away from Ramu Pde as it is one of the worst street to live. It is a very rough street with hard rubbish and litter dumped on the side street by mostly the tenants who live in public housing.

I have experienced abuse, racism, theft, vandalism to my home, hard rubbish and litter litterally dumped on my driveway and front lawn strip, exposed needles /condoms put in my letterbox and property. The list goes on.


Sure Heidelberg West is close to hospitals, shops and city but the only transport available within walking distance is the bus. You will generally need a car to get anywhere.


After so many years of living in this depressing suburb I am so glad I got out of there.
