I searched lots of Melbourne suburbs to buy house but eventually settled on Templestowe Lower from Geelong and happy I did. Its very nice, close to shopping centers, public transport not far away, good restaurants and Box Hill only 20 mins drive. I can find everything here without fuss and online deliveries take next day. I'm glad I don't have to encounter trams like in other suburbs, traffic is easy flowing. Unlike others don't care about night life or bars, can go to CBD if want to. Air is cleaner and reasonably quiet except one neighbor shouting at her kids every second day. Overall recommend it highly.
