Bedford
"Great place to live"
I have lived inner city for a number of years and moved to Bedford 12 months ago. I find the location great and the facilities just keep growing with the restaurants moving up Beaufort Street. It is a suburb that is small and unique and only gets better with a lot of renovation and redevelopment. It is easy to get into the city if you have to and heaps of public transport is available. It is amazing how quite it is and the neighbors are always friendly and keep an eye out. There are some amazing renovations going on and I believe this is a suburb that will be sought after because of it's uniqueness, size and spirit.

Wow so many comments about Bedford .
I am Mr Bedford . Well might as well be anyway. I moved into Bedford when I was a few days old . I am now 52 and despite some moves over limited periods of time I have lived in Beford all my life . I currently live in Salisbury Street and have done for 15 years this time and grew up in Salisbury street . The place has changed a lot and mostly for the better . Plenty of places to eat out along Beaufort Street , lots of little and big shops , very friendly residents , great schools and all within 6 km of the CBD . Safe at night and during the day . Some dodge people from time to time but thats everywhere . Beford remains an affordable good place to rent or buy and live .
