Favorite local burgers
Seattle actually has a number of local burger joints that are well above average. Here are my favorites. Please add your own to the list!
1. Blazing Onion - it's only in a few locations, but it's growing. Red Robin, look out!

2. Red Mill - there's a reason it's always packed!

3. Red Robin - sure, it's gone all Starbucky on us, but it's still a fantastic sandwich!

4. Kidd Valley - definitely the top tier of fast food burgers

Burger Master is my dad's favorite. The shakes are great, but I never think to go there for burgers. Still, it's head and shoulders above Dick's.

Without a doubt Red Mill is one of the top three Burger Joints in Seattle. If you head over to Issaquah for the day you should definintely try XXX Burgers. In Queen Anne you can get a gourmet burger at Hilltop Alehouse and it is one of the best I have ever had. Again, it's not the diner type burger but more gourmet.

Whoa, I haven't had an XXX Burger since I was a kid. I'll have to head out to Issaquah one of these days and check it out. I remember they had amazing root beer floats!
