Will Watsonia property prices increase after NEL is complete in 2028?

There are a lot of road works, disturbances and construction noises from the Watsonia town center upgrade and North East Link project currently which may be holding prices down. But this is only until 2028, once NEL is complete it will allow anyone from Watsonia to travel to the East and into the city really quickly and also to allow local travel to neighboring suburbs like Rosanna, Heidelberg and Ivanhoe, to be quicker which have median house price of 1.26m to 1.6m. As of now 2024 the median price for Watsonia is only 887k which is a bargain compared to neighboring suburbs.
