Air con on the coast at Wellington Point needed or not?

Hi all. We are looking at moving to Wellington point from the uk, and have viewed a couple of properties right on the water. They appear great but neither has air conditioning. When we view and opened the patio doors then the air circulation was fine with the sea breeze. However, this is may and we are worried that in the middle if summer then inside would be unbearably hot. Can anyone let us know if air con is a must in this sort of location? Thanks, derek

It will depend on the type of house you look to buy, some will need it and some will not depending on aspect and layout. If you buy a house without it and its too hot you can always get it installed at a later date.

Homes on the water will probably get a good breeze, however there will always be those still hot nights and an airconditioner can ensure you get a good nights sleep! Scott is right though, if the house doesnt have air con, just install one!
