Whats the nicest south east bay suburb?
Hi All. I would like to know what is considered the nicest suburb in the South East bay area? We are a young family, looking for a very safe area, nice neighbourhood, leafy and green, good schools, some cafes ect. If you were to rank them what would you say is most affluent ? Thank you!

Hi nice family.
Firstly there is no area called South East Bay. The Brisbane region is surrounded by councils not in Brisbane, Redland Bay, ( East ) Moreton Bay, ( North ) the Gold Coast ( South ) and Sunshine Coast ( Far North ) and this coastal region stretches over over 200 kilometres from Coolongatta ( South ) to Noosa North Shore ( Far North ). So if you look on a map in that area you can pay 12 million for a house in Hedges av, Miami or 500 thou for a unit in Brighton. It's not as easy to answer due to the area mass. So if you find an area you want first, I can then help. remember that Queensland has a school catchment regulation too. So maybe look at schools along the coast first and choose your school, then the area second.

Thank you thats a great tip around schools as this will be important for us. Apologies what I meant by South East Bay Area was the area that has Manly, Wynnum, Wellington Point ect. I will definitely use your tip on looking for schools !
